Approved 4/118
In this lecture, Dr Burton will shed light on one of the biggest struggles with Class 2 restorations: The Wedge. We will focus on what physics are involved in the wedging step, how current wedges/techniques struggle to overcome these hurdles, and what we need to do to fix it. Dr Burton has discovered that no matter what matrix system is used, the wedge plays a critical role in restoration placement, matrix band contour, & restoration success. We will also explore how to take advantage of different components from different matrix systems. With a consistent approach, AND THE RIGHT TOOLS, dentists will be able to consistently conquer any Class 2 challenge!
