Many dental students and new dentists dream of being their own boss. However, they don’t always feel that they have the knowledge needed to run a business, while also tracking of all the regulations associated with practice ownership. The MDA will be hosting a mini bootcamp with an overview of general business principles for starting and operating a dental clinic. This half-day bootcamp will focus on a unique aspect of ownership of a dentistry driven business that includes the management skills required to effectively operate the business. We have an experienced team of presenters who have advised and helped many dentists at all stages of their practice. They will be presenting on general business operations, financial, regulatory compliance, and practice management. If you are a dental student or a new dentist (or even a seasoned dentist) and want to learn more about the business part of dentistry, this is a great course to attend.
